What makes Toyota so AMAZING?

We can answer this question in so many ways: Toyota was the first to have a hybrid-electric vehicle with the Prius; Toyota is leading the way in Fuel Cell Vehicle technology; Toyota has the best-selling car in America... If you're already a fan of Toyota, you know we can go on and on about the many ah-mazing details in every vehicle. And things just got even BETTER with the new 2015 Toyota models!

But to answer the question today, what makes Toyota so AMAZING? We thought we'd tell you about our recent trip to Las Vegas. Oprah, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Bruno Mars... just to name a few of the guests at the annual Toyota National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas.

Here are some of the highlights:

Toyota Division Group Vice President and General Manager, Bill Fay, and Vice President of Toyota Marketing, Jack Hollis, presented a $50,000 check to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation, which strives to help academically gifted girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.

President and CEO of Toyota Motor Sales, Kaz Ohara, took the stage with a call to innovation. He also showed how Toyota’s devotion to Hiring our Heroes has helped veterans and their spouses find employment in the private sector.

Senior Vice President of Automotive Operations Bob Carter brought some sales numbers. “You are once again the No. 1 retail brand in the U.S.,” Carter said.

Toyota North America CEO Jim Lentz took the stage and talked about moving to Plano, Texas. Lentz said that, by moving to Plano, Toyota will be a stronger company.

Lipton Toyota Hits All-Time Store Record Sales AGAIN!

We did it again! We received another Colossal Gram from Southeast Toyota.

Broward Sheriff's Office Patriot Day Ceremony

Lipton Toyota joined Sheriff Scott Israel and the Broward Sheriff's Office in paying tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11 during BSO’s Patriot Day Ceremony at the Signature Grand.

Igniting the spirit of unity. "We will NEVER forget."

The keynote speaker was Judge Elijah Williams, who currently serves in the Juvenile Delinquency Division of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court. The mistress of ceremonies was Summer Knowles, reporter and anchor for CBS Channel 4. The BSO Honor Guard and the Broward 10-13 Club Honor Guard presented colors. "TAPS" and "Amazing Grace" were performed by the Police Pipe and Drum Corps, and the Indian Ridge Middle School eighth grade choir gave a musical tribute. Finally, a bell tolled commemorating the tragic events from the September 11 attacks.

"The total number of people impacted by this tragedy is incalculable. May all the heroes and victims of this senseless tragedy rest in peace."

Lipton Toyota Will Be A Sponsor For 2nd Annual Sail Away For Broward Heroes Gala

Lipton Toyota will be a sponsor for this year’s Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council’s (B.S.A.C.) 2nd Annual Sail Away For Broward Heroes Gala on board the LADY WINDRIDGE motor yacht on October 9, 2014.

The guest of honor will be Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel. Special guests, Richie Supa from Aerosmith and Terry Kirby former Miami Dolphin, will be on board to hold an auction. The dinner, dance and cruise is an annual event to benefit the families of Broward County officers killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.

“Sheriff Scott Israel is very excited and supportive of the many fine programs of the B.S.A.C.,” said Kathleen Windridge, event co-chairwoman. The nonprofit organization was founded more than 35 years ago by the late Sheriff Nick Navarro. Fred Windridge, Kathleen Windridge’s late husband, was one of the founding members. The B.S.A.C. has raised money to provide financial assistance to the families of officers killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. B.S.A.C. members are men and women who are dedicated to supporting all of the law enforcement community of Broward County, not just the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Kathleen Windridge and Susan Israel will serve as co-chairwomen of the fundraising event. Committee members also include Beverly DiNunzio and Buddy Olen as underwriting co-chairpersons, while Sandy Romanovitz and Kevin Lane act as publicity co-chairs.

One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the families of Broward County's fallen and permanently disabled heroes. Tickets are $175 per person and $225 for premium seating. For reservations or to make a donation, call Buddy Olen at 954-658-6502 or visit www.browardsheriffadvisorycouncil.org.
