Many injuries and deaths can be avoided with proper use of restraints like child car seats and booster seats. During BSO and Lipton Toyota's Safety Day event held on Saturday, May 2nd, attendees received important car seat safety information. As part of Lipton Toyota's commitment to safety, we believe in educating families and providing critical information such as car seat safety tips. Safety Day attendees also received a car seat safety check and free installation by specially trained technicians.

Lipton Toyota is proud to have sponsored the first annual HAUTE for HANDY Fashion Show held on Saturday, April 25th. HANDY — Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth — educates and empowers at-risk children through compreshensive programs in order to help them become engaged and productive adults. HANDY serves more than 1,300 vulnerable children annually with a focus on education, youth development and economic self-sufficiancy.

It was truly a remarkable evening benefiting HANDY's "Camp LIFE" Program. This Summer Camp Program provides a safe place for at-risk youth in our community during the out-of-school summer months. Lipton Toyota would like to thank Diane and Armando Leighton, Jr. for hosting this wonderful event at their lavish, Harbor Beach waterfront estate.

Since its inception in 2012, the Sheriff's Cup Golf Tournament has raised funds for the Sheriff's Foundation of Broward County, a Foundation with a very important mission: To provide moral and financial support to the families of those who lost their lives in the line of duty. The Foundation also funds programs of the Sheriff’s office to maintain public safety and improve the quality of life for all citizens in Broward County.

Toyota Captures A Unique Symphony With GIFs

Toyota captures an elaborate musical composition using animated images — and our family at Lipton Toyota can't get enough of it! It's so much fun!

This unique symphony, called a Gifony, features a series of 45 animated images or GIFs with lots of music. Gifony builds on "the idea that at Toyota, people and process work together in perfect harmony to create something beautiful." source

Gifony is a fun, innovative way to having a backstage pass into the world of how Toyota vehicles are made.

“We wanted to give people a rare glimpse at the story behind how their favorite Toyota cars are made,” said Marjorie Schussel, corporate marketing director at Toyota. “Gifony allows users to experience the thrill of stepping into one of our 10 U.S. manufacturing plants for the first time and entering an exhilarating world of sounds, energy and activity.”

The images and sounds were recorded in Toyota's manufacturing plants showing real manufacturing processes. Not everyone knows what it's like to be in a plant hearing the sounds of the manufacturing process. The short loops of music depict sounds such as welding and steel stamping which end up in a fun remix. And... you can actually create your own symphony! 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Debuts at New York International Auto Show

For 15 years, Toyota has been sales leader in gas-electric and hybrid vehicle sales. Now Toyota has unveiled the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

The conventional gas version RAV4 will come in four grades: LE, XLE, Limited and the new SE. Together with the new Hybrid XLE and Limited, all 2016 RAV4 models will feature refreshed exterior styling, providing a sleeker, more dynamic appearance. It starts with a new, stronger looking front fascia with an available LED trifecta (Headlights, Daytime Running Lights and Hi-Lo Headlights). The Bird’s Eye View Monitor system also has an industry-first feature called Perimeter Scan, that gives drivers a live rotating 360 degree view of what is around the vehicle, helping them see objects that could be in the way.

Toyota's All-Wheel Drive Technology for Florida Rain

A recent press release by Toyota USA "Toyota Sienna Van and RAV4 Compact SUV: All-Wheel-Drive Cures for the Winter Blues" detailed significant all-wheel drive benefits with the Toyota Sienna and the RAV4. Toyota asked AMCI Certified Testing for an objective independent evaluation of the Sienna and the RAV4. The test results revealed notable advantages with all-wheel drive. 

This is GREAT NEWS for us in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! If Toyota's all-wheel drive vehicles outperformed their leading competitors on snow and ice, imagine what they can do in heavy Florida rain and mud!

The RAV4 offers a sophisticated Dynamic Torque Control All-Wheel Drive system. By coordinating through a high-speed interactive management system with Vehicle Stability Control and electric power steering systems, Dynamic Torque Control All-Wheel Drive helps enhance performance, handling and safety.

In addition to making harsh snowy winters more bearable for families, Toyota’s all-wheel drive technology helps provide additional on-road capabilities. The Sienna all-wheel drive system employs a transfer case to smoothly deliver power to an electromagnetic coupler on the rear differential that divides engine power up to 50/50 front and rear. Wheel slippage at either set of wheels automatically transfers more power to the opposite wheels to help keep the Sienna moving forward.
