Lipton Toyota - Helping our Newest Drivers DRIVE SAFELY!

At Lipton Toyota, we understand the concerns a parent of a teenage driver may have. Lipton Toyota has been a family owned dealership since 1989, and since then, we have been deeply committed to the safety of our brand new drivers. For this reason, we want to make sure that The Toyota Mutual Driving Agreement is available to all families.

Parents, we want to provide you with this tool to help keep your teen safe on the road. Please sit down with your child and read these promises together. Teens, please encourage your parents to sign the pledge with you.

It may be difficult sometimes for our children to admit it, but we can be a positive role model for them, including in the way we drive. It is important that we, as parents, also promise to comply with all traffic safety regulations, as we ask our teenagers to do the same. For example, let’s promise to wear our safety belt at all times; let’s promise to always obey the posted speed limit and never drive when we are angry, frustrated or emotional. Our teenagers can learn many positive driving habits, from our example, including not driving the car until all passengers are buckled up. No exceptions. Let’s be the drivers we want our children to be.
